- My heart stuttered to a stop for one deadly moment before it continued throbbing with an intensity that was painful, beating wildly against my rib cage like it fighting to burst free from my chest in fear.
- I whipped my head backwards with eyes wide as saucers in terror to see a masked stranger towering behind me, decked in an all-dark attire; his eyes could barley be seen behind the thick black balaclava and his head was covered with an equally thick black cover of his hoodie lending him an even menacing aura. “W-who are you and what are you doing here?” I belated.
