• Fiona’s POV
• I kept thinking about that walk-in I had with Jin and no matter how much I tried, I couldn’t get his words out of my head. The fact that he had the nerve to act all possessive had me scoffing at the absurdity of it all. Not to mention the underlying threat in his voice which left room from little doubt that he’d carry it out. If what the four of them were saying was the truth, then how was I to avoid the other three? I could try to hold off Soren and Kai, but Lyn? There was no way. Lyn was unhinged. A monster who acted on his dark impulses with little to no regret. This was something that I had experienced first hand. Had Kai and Jin not stopped him, he would have had his way with me regardless and there will be no consequences on his part.
