Chapter 29

  • Fiona’s POV
  • Tears broke free like a water escaping a poorly constructed dam, flowing uncontrollably as I wailed, choking on heart wrenching sobs that rattled my fragile frame. I never quite thought I’d see myself like this again. I thought I had managed to keep my demons locked away. But they have been locked up for so long they were clamoring for escape and Jin’s assault was the key they needed to escape and once free, they became relentless.
  • Sinister voices whispered dark thoughts into my brain, digging out the insecurities I had buried deep in my subconscious. Anxiety and Panic shrieked into my ears like angry banshees, sinking claws of uncertainty and discomfort into my body while Fear breathed its black fog into my heart, it’s tendrils wrapped around my already battered heart to squeeze out whatever feeling I had left until I was a shattered shell.
