Chapter 50 Mothers' Arrival

• I glance over at the nightstand and the clock. It has been a few hours since the phone call with the mothers. I bite the inside of my lip as I wonder if they are really coming. That is a silly question. Of course, they are coming, and they are going to ‘inspect’ my mate to see if he is good enough, but will they stop at that or are they going to do more in the name of protecting me?
