Chapter 7

  • Ariana Greece woke up feeling tired and anxious. She only had a few hours of sleep after tossing on the bed for long. She couldn't help but worry about what was going to happen today when she came face to face with Alexander.
  • She had honestly prepared her mind for Monday. Never would she have thought that her plan was going to kick off earlier. She was not a hundred percent ready but she knew that it was either now or never.
  • Ari heaved a deep sigh. She set her duvet aside and then sat on her bed. Her eyes went to the nightstand where her phone was. She reached for it and came face to face with a text message from Ellie. Ellie would arrive at her place in about 35 minutes and she was coming with breakfast.
  • Arianna rolled her eyes at the text. She hasn't had an appetite since last night. She was too nervous to even think about food. Ari returned her phone to the nightstand, rose to her feet, and then proceeded to the bathroom. She came out a couple of minutes later all washed up, and then she began dressing up.
  • Ari was used to dressing classy and professional when going to work but for this seduction, She intended to combine classy with a little bit of slutty look so for her first day of work, She settled for a slim-fitted skirt and matching chiffon top. The high waist skirt stopped right above her knee and it accentuated her well-defined curves. (Her hips and ass). Ari's top also gave a fine view of her cleavage. It didn't make her look slutty but attractive.
  • Arianna Greece was blessed to have such a wonderful body. She was of normal weight and height, she had curves at the right places and perfect boobs size and ass. She was also a natural beauty. Once Ari was all dressed up, she proceeded to her dressing table to apply a little makeup and style her hair.
  • Ari planned to have a badass makeover transformation, to the extent that even the people that knew her would find it hard to recognize her. But she wasn't able to achieve something close because of lack of time. Alexander Clay was undoubtedly into blondes so Ari dyed her hair. She specifically went for dark blonde and it fitted her well. Once she was done putting up her hair in a high ponytail, she looked into the mirror and smiled at her reflection. She looked prettier than she had imagined and she looked a little different from her usual self. She was sure people that didn't know her closely wouldn't be able to tell that She was Arianna Greece, the CEO of Ari Mills.
  • Ari put on her Jewelries and when she was done, She picked up her handbag and pair of heels, then exited her room. The moment she placed her handbag on the couch and heels on the floor in the living room, the sound of the doorbell came through. Knowing who it was, Arianna went to open up.
  • "Oh my!!" Ellie voiced out the moment She came face to face with Arianna. "Are you sure I didn't enter the wrong home?"
  • Ari rolled her eyes as she opened the door wider for her best friend to come in and Ellie did just that.
  • "Girl, you look stunning. I could hardly recognize you?" Ellie said with a small smile playing on her lips.
  • "Are you hitting on me?" Ari teased.
  • "Gosh! You're so proud." Ellie pouted, placing the bag of breakfast on the table.
  • Ari chuckled. "Anyways, thanks for the compliment. I was starting to think I was overdressed."
  • Ellie accessed her best friend's outfit once more, then shook her head. "You're perfectly dressed for your first day at work. I'm sure Alexander wouldn't be able to take his eyes off you. Maybe this seduction plan is not bad after all."
  • Ari arched a brow "First day at work?! It sounds very foreign."
  • "To a CEO, who spends all her time working. It sure does sound very foreign." Ellie laughed.
  • "Yeah, the seduction idea isn't a bad one. Up till the day before yesterday, I was very confident in myself but after Emma gave us the news, I've been all over the place. I've never given a thought about how I was going to react when I first set my eyes on Alexander Clay. I never thought of what I would say to him. What would he even think about me in this circumstance?" Ari found herself saying.
  • "Calm down, Babe. It's normal for you to be nervous because all that you've been planning and preparing for is here. I know you more than anyone. I have faith in you that you will do just fine. You can only win this battle with Confidence so be strong, my love."
  • "The only thing I'm sort of worried about is you falling for that ingrate!" Ellie said.
  • Arianna groaned. "I can never fall for him, Babe."
  • "When last did you set your eyes on Alex, either in real life or in photos?" Ellie asked.
  • "A couple of years ago!" She answered, wondering why Ellie was asking her that question. Alexander could look like a monkey for all she cared. All she knew was that he had to go down for all that he did to her."
  • "Right!!!" Ellie scoffed. "You didn't even bother to google up the person you are about to deal with."
  • "Why would I? When there's absolutely nothing special about him."
  • "Well then. I'll let you see for yourself. Just try to stay composed when you're around him." Ellie advised.
  • "You're so impossible Ellie, no matter how hot you claim he is, I can never find him sexy or attractive. The tears he had cost me and the hate I have for him will obviously make me see him as the ugliest person in the world."
  • "I'm counting on your word. Let's have breakfast and then I'll drop you off."
  • The two jolly friends made random conversations while they had breakfast and after that, they both left Arianna's apartment.
  • "Here we are, babe!" Ellie announced the moment the car came to a halt in front of Clay International.
  • Arianna heaved a long sigh.
  • "Okay, it wouldn't make any sense to chicken out right now because we've both come a long way, " Ellie said.
  • "You get scared easily, Ellie. Can't I be nervous for a few seconds?"
  • Ellie smiled. She gave Ari's hand a light squeeze. "I'm sorry for being too forward. All the same, I won't force you to do what you don't want to do. For the last time, I'm going to ask you, are you sure you want this revenge?"
  • Ari nodded after a while. "Then go for it, babe. Be strong! I'll text you from time to time. Don't worry about the company. I'll handle it."
  • "Thank you!" Arianna responded with a small smile. The duo exchanged hugs and after that, Ari helped herself out of the car.
  • Once she got into the skyscraper building, She approached the receptionist by the lobby and after exchanging a few words with the middle-aged lady, Ari was given a tag and a key card. Ari thanked the receptionist, then she proceeded to the elevator.
  • Arianna Greece felt all eyes on her as she made her way to the elevator. She didn't feel affected or nervous about it because she was used to people staring at her. She confidently stepped into the lift with a couple of others and in no time, She got to her destination. The 19th floor. Ari came to know that only the CEO and his Secretary occupied the 19th floor. She had no idea if she should be glad or nervous about her and Alexander Clay having all the privacy they need for the revenge.
  • Based on Emma's description told by Ellie, Ari was able to locate her office space which was just a few steps away from Alexander Clay's office.
  • "The son of a bitch does have a good taste after all" Ari hissed as she took a glance at his luxurious office through the glass-walled doors. The office was empty but she knew Alexander would arrive anytime soon. It was almost 7:13 am.
  • Ari placed her handbag on the desk, then went in search of the kitchen to prepare Alex's coffee. The 19th floor consisted of Alexander's luxurious office, the secretary's office space, a small reception, a small but modernized kitchen, A large conference room, a bathroom, and an empty office space.
  • Ari got to work with the making of the coffee as soon as she entered the Kitchen. Once the coffee was ready, she poured some into two mugs. One for herself and the other one for Alex. Staring at the coffee meant for Alex, a thought came to her mind. Ari makes very good coffee but she thought of pissing him off by adding salt to it and putting less milk.
  • Arianna shook her head, then said to herself. "As much as I want to do that so bad, I think it will have to wait. I've got to make some good impressions today so he won't fire me on the spot. But he will be getting some really disgusting coffee from me very soon."
  • Placing both mugs of coffee on their various saucers, Ari picked them up and turned around to take her leave, only to bump into a very hard wall after taking a few steps. It happened so fast that Arianna couldn't comprehend what happened. The hot liquid in the mugs spilled on Alexander Clay. "WHAT THE HELL!!!" He shrieked.
