Chapter 32

• Alexander Clay was seated on the tiled bathroom floor with his back resting against the cabinet. He was shirtless and was putting on a pajamas trouser which was soaked with blood. The left knee of the trouser was ripped open. It was obvious that the blood came from the knee. Stains of blood could also be seen on Alexander's chest and stomach; his hands were not left out too.
• With tears rolling down from her cheeks, Arianna dashed to where Alex was and crouched beside him.
• "Alex?" She panicked as she cupped his face in her shaky hands. His eyes were closed and she could see the stained tears on his face. Ari unconsciously heaved a sigh of relief when she unintentionally saw his chest rise and fall.
