Chapter 30

• Arianna had expected the ride to the venue to be awkward but it turned out to be the opposite. Alexander was quite a good conversationalist. He kept her involved in random conversations and to her surprise, he made her laugh a couple of times. She got to know that he was quite a funny person. It was so hard to believe that Alexander Clay had this cool side. A side no one ever saw.
• Arianna watched as Alex pulled up into a quiet but beautiful estate. After a few minutes' drive, the car came to a stop in front of a not-so-big bungalow house.
• "I own many properties across the state and this is one of the smallest but also one of my favorite places. I hope you like it here." Alex said as he unbuckled his seat belt.
