• Arianna was beyond shocked as she stood still and processed all that Alexander said. To be honest, she had expected him to give lame reasons. Never in her wildest dreams will she have guessed that he went through something so psychologically traumatizing.
• She did nothing but stared at him, Speechless. The moment Alex completed his statement, he left Arianna's sight, went to the far end corner of his office, and poured himself a glass of white wine. He took a few sips, refilled it and then made his way back to his desk. He sat on his chair, took more sips of his wine, before finally placing the glass cup on the table, disregarding Arianna's presence. Not because he wishes to ignore her, but because he was ashamed after revealing the truth. Even his best friends; Charles, Nicholas and Leo, have no idea about what he just told Ari.
