She refused to acknowledge that she knew Alecks had left on a cruise to mend his broken heart after splitting up with Suzie McMahon, therefore there was nothing more she could do about it at this point. When they interrogated her the day after the incident, they would question why she hadn't said that at first. Ruslan had to be upgraded and given more spending money, but he had agreed to the plan and had brought his brother instead of his boyfriend—who fortunately had a passport photo that Alecks could pass for—on the cruise to the Pacific Islands.
