• Alecks remained still due to the breathtaking rage she had directed at him. He let out a low groan as if slowly coming out of a coma. He screamed, "You stupid fucking bitch!" "You genuinely believe that Mr. Wonderful will propose to you after learning that you slept with your brother and desired more? You believe that if I tell him what a slut you are and what you used to do for me, he will desire you. Nobody will ever love you or want you more than a last resort because you are an abhorrent pig!"
• Alecks moved toward the door as Bob moved toward him while Ernest started to approach him from behind. He wasn't going to go up against the two of them at once, but he would return. He was not yet done with this foolish bitch and how she had destroyed not only his life but also the life of his mother.
• Ernest was forced to decide whether to console Amanda as she slumped onto the couch and started sobbing or to go after the jerk who had caused her to cry. He made the decision to avoid being imprisoned for assault. He already knew about her relationship with Alecks because she had disclosed it to him, and it didn't bother him. He believed that Alecks exploited the meek girl who was reliant on him. Bob turned to glance at Ernest, who then nodded before picking her up and putting her to bed. He had assisted her in taking off her robe before climbing into bed next to her and simply held her as she sobbed. To ensure that her stepfamily couldn't just stroll in whenever they wanted, he would speak to her in the morning about changing the locks on her doors.
