Chapter 58 Meeting the Parents

• Susan quickly massaged her belly as well. After Stephanie got through the bout of pain, Susan said, “Hannah hooked up with Connor. It won’t be easy to go against her, so stop it.” After remembering how cruel Thomas was earlier, she started worrying. “We’d better start coming up with a plan to make your father transfer his shares to you. When he kicks us out in the future, we might lose everything if we don’t do so.”
• “Ignore Dad, Mom. He only has me and Hannah, and he dislikes Hannah. Who else would he leave his wealth to if not me?” Stephanie held her mother’s hand and told her gently, “I’ve come up with a way to ruin Hannah. I heard she’s pregnant, so she’s trying to marry into the Langleys with that. What a joke. Connor might be blind to have fallen for her, but his mother isn’t. I’ve asked someone to tell his mother about Stephanie’s nude photos and her debt, and I bet she is making her move now.”
