That made her stop for a moment, but when Isabelle wanted to resume her movement, the cell phone kept ringing loudly as though it waited for no one. Retracting her hand indignantly, she turned around and strode over to the coffee table before picking up the cell phone. When she saw that it was a call from Connor, her expression changed several times in succession. Glancing sideways at the two bodyguards, she ordered, “Keep a close eye on her. I’m stepping out to answer a phone call.” After saying that, she exited the private room. “Hello. Connor?”
