• When the servant came back with their number in line, she pushed Hannah to the consultation room and waited in line. Half an hour later, it was their turn.
• Hannah went inside in a daze, and while the doctor was asking about her condition during the checkup, her mind flew elsewhere; she didn’t even register some of the questions. When the doctor snapped her out of it, she apologized and asked for a repeat of the question before she answered.
