Chapter 26 I Wish I Could Bury Myself in a Hole

• As they arrived at the busiest region of the city, Mateo seized Hannah’s arm and took her into a clothing store that was well known for its tailor-made dresses. In fact, its clothes were the favorite choice for many wealthy and famous socialites. As soon as they entered the store, Mateo pointed at Hannah while telling the storekeeper to pick the lady a suitable dress.
• “This way, please.” The storekeeper then proceeded to select a few dresses for Hannah to try out in the fitting room. In the end, Hannah chose a black bodycon slip dress that was not too skimpy yet decent, but when she stepped out of the fitting room, she saw the storekeeper shaking her head before she recommended another scarlet strapless dress.
• Hannah reluctantly put on the dress, as she soon felt uncomfortable with her exposed chest. She then tried to adjust her dress upward, only to realize that the short skirt prevented her from doing that, or she would easily have a wardrobe malfunction. Therefore, she was forced to wear the dress just the way she was meant to.
