• “Have you lost all your manners? Have you gone insane, or have you forgotten who I am?” Mr. De’Mario finally lifts his face. It is filled with anger, shame, and disapproval of my actions. His face is flushing red from ear to ear, denouncing how riled he is.
• Forget about who he is because I can’t recognize the man that I used to refer as my father in the animal of a man standing before me right now. But have I gone insane? Have I lost all my manner? “Yes!” I hiss bitterly, and I see his wife shift in her posture, their eyes scorching my face with disbelief. “You all have made me lose it all! I am nuts! I am insane! I have lost all the cool, the respect I had for you all, and my patience with you all have worn out! I am so mad right now that I want to kill you all!” I howl, the maids stopping on their here and there chores to come and witness what is happening here.
