• My eyebrow arched, a silent question as Fabio gave a curt nod, and Erica's smile, sharper than a freshly honed blade, turned my way. "There are so many people eager to speak with Fabio," she said, her gaze darting to my necklace for a fraction of a second before returning to my face. "The Gambino family is here; they want to thank Fabio for taking care of me."
