• I stared through the window, enjoying the feel of the cool air on my skin and the perfect view overlooking the city at night from my temporary home.
• Outside, the city came alive under the night sky. Lights stretched out to the horizon, which illuminated the winding streets and iconic landmarks below. If I were to be honest, I'd say the humans had way more sophistication than us, which I envied. We lived in hiding, and we couldn't do much because that would draw attention to us.
