• Asona's POV
• I had always wondered why I had never seen Tate's children or heard her talk about them. I felt it in my gut that she didn't have children, but I had never had the spunk to ask her about it, so I just let it be. I always knew Fang was an asshole but I never knew he had graduated to a higher level of being an asshole until now. She had hit a nerve by telling him he was like his father, and he had decided to hurt her by asking her about the particular thing he knew she found uncomfortable to talk about.
• The admittance of her being cursed had come as a rude awakening to me. I had thought of several other reasons why she didn't have children, but a curse had never crossed my mind.
