Chapter 16

• Fang's POV
• It had been a week now since the she-wolf stopped me, a week since I last saw my friend and a week since he sent the life changing message that almost shattered my life. He had done his finding that same day and gotten back to me at night. I knew he was the one for the job. What I never thought of was the revelation I had received.
• My features hardened, and my knuckles turned white as they gripped the door. I couldn't reveal myself to her. I had to stay away from her. It was so complicated and confusing. I still had my doubts, though, and that was why I had ventured to see my friend that morning. I was engaged in a lot of things, that was why I couldn't make it last time, but now that I was here, he had a lot of explanation to do.
