Chapter 51
- Asona's POV
- I watched him slam the door in my face. He could best be described as ambivalent. Sometimes, he could be so sweet, and other times, he was so cold. I knew there was more to his past than he had just told me. I wanted to know more about what had made him this way. Watching his mother die at a young age and his father taking it out on him could do a lot to a child, but there was something he was holding back. Despite the voices in my head telling me not to, I headed out of my room to the other side of the house.
- I knocked three times in a row, but there was no response. I was about to forfeit my dumb mission when the lock twisted and the door opened. I turned to see Fang wet in a towel draped across his waist. He stood confidently, his eyes trained on my face. Water trickled down his chiselled abs and broad shoulders. The water droplets made his tan, smooth skin glisten. I swallowed, suddenly losing the ability to speak. He was handsome in an irresistible, sinful way.
