• Being Luna of Creekmoon pack was one of the most monotonous duties I had ever encountered. Unlike Townsy, who was always so busy, I didn't have much to do because the Alpha, my mate, had made it his duty to take up most of the tasks. Together with his Beta and enforcers, Fang ruled the Creekmoon pack. I was left with overseeing she-wolves affairs. I barely went to the small office assigned to me next to Fang's because I barely had anything to do, but I went that day. I was tired of drowning in tears and self-loathing, so I had to keep myself busy.
• I settled a small dispute between two she-wolves who believed they were mated to the same wolf, and I felt elated. I had achieved something. The norm was to fight to the death, and the one left standing would mate with the wolf. So, I asked them what had been on my mind since Tate relayed her experience.
