Chapter 9 Confronting Cecile

I arrived home in the evening; it was dark already like I had planned it. Well, I didn't exactly go straight to the house after meeting with Pete, I had to go see the car mechanic and then went to eat at a roadside eatery; I enjoy food at the local places more than your so-called exquisite stores.
I was stalling on purpose; I wanted it to be dark before I got home because I had plans to carry out. Just as I got to the door and was about to open it, I bumped into Laura who was leaving; that was the first time I was seeing her today, she was still asleep when I left for college in the morning, and she was not around when I returned in the afternoon
"Hey, Laura," I called with a smile. Wait, I thought I didn't like her presence here, why am I suddenly all smiles? I am not a hypocrite, am I?
