Chapter 64 A Long Romantic Drive

• A day had passed since my argument with Cecile; we haven't been much on speaking terms since then but I wasn't so bothered about it. Actually, we had been avoiding each other since then. It was evening and I was bored of having nothing to do. Okay, maybe I did have things to do but they were not just the things I wanted to do.
• I wanted to spend some quality time with Laura but I can't do that with our parents around. Cecile might be aware of what goes on between us and she might not openly react but she wouldn't feel good with it either. Father was also at home as he was yet to resume work here in the states; according to the old man, he was on a self-given break.
• Of course he could do that, he was the CEO of the company, he could go away for six months if he wished.
