Sage had my back propped up against his chest, his arms around me, and his hands were massaging my tummy as we sat comfortably in the warm, bubbling water of the bathtub. There was silence and it was calming to the very least despite my surging thoughts of Gayle Gibson. After I was wounded, envious, furious, and perplexed by what I had just seen, our bodies were attempting to relax and to find solace and he was successful with it. Sage tried to reassure me that he was present right now, right here with me, and that he was here and he was not pushing me away nor leaving me, though, in order to calm me down.
