• Dearest Idris,
• Merry Christmas! What is merry this Christmas when I do not have you? This is my first Christmas without you and it feels terribly lonely. I am not used to not having you around so it is kind of difficult. Mom and dad are looking for you, I hope you are doing well and eating well. I have been thinking of you since we broke up and I still feel horrible. There were days when I wanted to call you but the management is tracking our call logs constantly. I am sorry for being the most awful. You never deserved it. I hope to make it up to you. The management have changed my mobile number and have collectively done so within the band to track us all. So, I decided to write in this journal starting today and every single day after today as much as I could in hopes that maybe one day I can give this to you and let you read it. I wanted to write letters, you know like in the olden days, but the management strictly tracks everything in and out. I miss you a whole lot and I love you forever.
