Chapter 11 Part-time Jobs

• I spent most of my Saturday morning, working and jumping from one part-time job to another which has gotten normal to me now. Basically I do not have a life outside school, because after my classes at the university, I have a part-time job then on the weekends, I also have part-time jobs from morning to evening. So having fun was really never an option for me. Would you even believe that I have never actually been to the beach before? My dad always promised me that he would take me to the beach when I was a child, but he was never able to since his addiction was more of his priority than his family.
• So when he died when I was eight, I actually really hated him so much. I never even told him that I turned out gay and that I crave for a man’s love and touch. Growing up and knowing my own sexuality, it always makes me wonder from time to time if he was still around, would he have accepted me for who I have become or would he be disgusted that his only son turned out to be gay?
