Chapter 15 Mother

• I walked towards the kitchen to grab myself a glass of water or two. The house was a bit dim and dark, from the living room to the kitchen but you can see silhouettes here and there.
• My eyes widened as soon as I saw another person’s towering silhouette, but even before I could react in a split second, a horrifying man’s three-second gay-like sounding scream filled the silence of the place which made me jump and then immediately there was light. My eyes then landed on the sight of Sage who looked bewildered while he was looking at me, “Jesus fuck!” He cussed so loud as he looked away while his hands were on his hips as he was shaking his head sideways. “Why the hell did you not turn on the lights, God damn it?”
