Chapter 52 Truly Exceptional

• In the middle of the evening, I was working my shift in the convenience store without customers getting in as I was constantly thinking that maybe I could just watch that radio interview that Texas had with his bandmates. The entire day I have been thinking about that damned interview that I saw from another person’s laptop and ever since I saw it, I want to see it. I have never really watched his interviews after we broke up, I was that gutted for what he had done. I never even listened to his music when he got popular even though it was played everywhere I went. Eventually, when I heard the entire songs after finally giving in to curiosity, I bawled my tears out hearing every lyric that he wrote about us and about me.
• “Oh fuck it.” I grabbed my phone and looked through the radio show interview that I saw earlier. I looked through online and once I found the video, I took a deep breath in and exhaled heavily, trying to prepare myself before I could watch it. I clicked and slowly it started playing to their interview.
