• Kelly powdered her nose and inspected her face in the mirror. Just the right amount of rouge and her look would be complete. Glancing at the flyer the Cat’s Eye Club had handed out only a week earlier, she couldn’t help but smile. That smile had sold a lot of tickets. She was already well known at the burlesque club for her bump and grind in the chorus line. But after her performance this evening, she was going to be the act of the year – of the 1920s, even! Tonight, she would make heads turn with her new solo show.
