" What the hell do you want Lennon?" Jake asks, he looks the least affected unlike me. I feel like Lennon can see through my soul and she already knows something happened between me and Jake.
I don't care about me. I may not be out fully, but I'm proud of what I am. I don't care if the whole world finds out that I'm gay but them finding out about Jake being involved with me, I can't let that happen to him. He might be ostracized for a very long time and that might affect the two of us. He's the Chancellor's son and that makes him uncomfortably popular and he's in the football team, rumors can easily spread around, from one faculty to the other and then the entire science building will hear about it. That won't be good. His father might disown him this time and even kick him out of school. Med school over.
Lennon glances at me briefly as she tosses her hand bag on the couch. She looks away, not after giving me a death glare as she walks slowly towards Jake.
