• All the members and the management rose to their feet, immediately I sauntered into the conference room. “Please sit, and let's proceed” I exhorted, walking around to sit down. As soon as I sat down, Kiara reached out to put down the briefcase on the large seminar table, but while she fetched the laptop from the bag, my gaze flicked involuntarily to her face but stopped right on her delicate cleavage, they were partially evident. My heart plummeted into my stomach as anger surged through me, I stared at her face, who in turn carefully kept the laptop in front of me. Now I comprehend she's completely insensitive to how I feel, how many more times do I have to make her understand that this is an organization and not a slut lodging. She moved away to stand beside the newly assigned ICT man that welcomed me. I turned to face him, “Get her a seat” I instructed coldly, he nodded and walked away with immediate effect.
• Shortly after, he brought in a seat and I made sure the seat was closer to mine before she sat down. “I learned that the factory workers are demanding an increase in salary, which somewhat resulted in a protest earlier this week” I began, in a business-like tone. While the words were coming out of my mouth, I discovered too soon that one of the managers was peeking in Kiara's direction. I noticed that he was new as well because his face wasn't looking familiar, “Where's the manager of the human resources management?” I asked, darting my eyes on each and every one face on their seat. “Here I am, sir” He spoke up, waving his hand up in the air. “How is it going over there?” He leaned over the table, “Myself and a few managers held a meeting with some staff members…” His voice trailed off, I didn't hear any of his words again, my gaze was fixed on the lunatic, that had his dirty eyes on Kiara.
