• With gentle strides, he got closer and stood a few steps away from us. Our eyes stay on each other, but his inscrutable look couldn't make me decipher what's running through his head. “What are you doing here, Nick?” She took a step closer to him and asked in a quavering voice. He didn't respond, but walked a few steps to my figure. “I don't quite appreciate you being in such an intimate posture with my babe” He said calmly, yet had an impersonal expression on his face. I stared at his face, numbly. It would be of great insult for me if I was caught exchanging words with him. Without darting my eyes from his face, “Let's go back, Kiara” I instructed, calmly. An arrogant smirk came up on his lips as he says, “I hope you understand what I meant, Mr. Alexander” I didn't say a word but turned my back against him and began to walk away, guessing Kiara was following me.
