Leo's brown eyes bore into mine as he asked, "Why don't you want to stay with men?"
I hesitated, memories of past traumas flashing before my eyes. "I've had bad experiences with men," I admitted, my voice shaky. "I really can't stay with them any more."
Leo's expression softened with understanding. "Calm down, Selena," he reassured me. "It's just for a few days, and they're my most trusted warriors. They won't bother you."
