• I was in shock. It felt like a fever dream. Adrian, the Lycan King, was kissing me right in front of my house. Panic welled up within me as I worried that someone might see us, but I couldn't resist the intoxicating sensation of his lips on mine.
• His strong hand wrapped around my waist, pulling me closer as he deepened the kiss. His lips were warm and demanding, and it felt so good that I couldn't bring myself to stop him. He kissed me passionately, and it was like a fire ignited within me.
