Chapter 35 Surprise Visit

• Joseph frozen in place at the door, staring at Maya, whose face was red with embarrassment. Bryan, noticing her presence, rushed to greet her with a giant smile on his face.
• “Welcome, Maya,” he said, pulling her in and forcing her to enter, even though she had much to say to Joseph. “Make yourself at home, as if this were your house.”
• Another smile, but it quickly disappeared when Bryan looked at Joseph and noticed the scowl on his face. It was clear that Joseph was far from pleased with this decision. He was still questioning why Maya was at his house.
