• Joseph walked down the stairs and only stopped when he was already outside, in a place where Maya couldn’t see him. He looked at his phone and called Bryan. The man waited anxiously for an answer. He wanted to resolve this as soon as possible.
• “Aren’t you supposed to be at a romantic dinner?”
• “Listen carefully to what I have to say,” Joseph huffed, focusing solely on his mission. “Maya’s father found her. I want you to find out who provided him that information and make sure he doesn’t come to meet her.”
