Chapter 21 Peace Of The Past

• The seats in the hall filled to it capacity. Every face seated held a high position either a CEO, a Minister or a world renowned person. The seating area was divided into three sections, the entertainment celebrities were seated at one side, the government personnel on the second side and the business tycoons on the last side. This arrangement was Ray's idea to lend a hand for business deals, promotions and collaborations to be created. He needed them to be indebted to him. Having a powerful person in your chain on friends could be a blessing in disguise. In between the guests was a dance floor. Four chairs were surrounding a table with each and every person’s name printed on it. Information provided by the front gates helped in making the name cards and each table has its own waitress serving the guests with their orders.
• After the Red carpet event, Ushers shown the guests their table. The main show began. Ray Cruz came on the platform and greeted the guests thanking them for making time for this event, he wished everyone enjoys what he had put together and for them to comment on it later since he was open to anything they had to say. It started with a heartfelt Opera by Mani Lu also known as the voice of heaven. She won many awards when she debuted thirty six years ago taking the Nation to greatest heights and expanding their entertainment industry into foreign borders. Citizens pleased with her gave her the name voice of heaven after her voice made the skies shed tears in the summer time. She is one of the country's respectable elder who can still pull thousands of fans both young and aged but now she is retired and hardly ever seen in public. Any attempts to bring her out into the spotlight has been turned down by her so how did Ray do it. Ray Cruz has shocked the world by bringing her to open the show. And his decision was gladly accepted by all.
• After three songs, Mani Lu smiled and excused herself from the stage. She was rushed by celebrities who were her fans. Mani greeted all of them and welcomed them. She was a little taken back by the force of the guests. She thought the world had forgotten her but it looks like Ray was right. The world now prefers the peace of the past after seeing how chaotic the future looks like.
