Chapter 17 Half Cooked Angels

• Star drove home with tears in her eyes. She was devastated. She made Ray, she did and now that he is wealthy he thinks he can push her aside. Never, it will never happen. If he wants to drown her then they will all die together. She honk her car waiting for the gates to open but nothing. She honk it again and the security guard got out.
• "Are you deaf, did you not hear me the first time? All these things have been employed here. Open the damn door and step aside. Did you hear me? Hey. Hey"
• The guard stood still at his place not moving an inch. He was not even moved by all the insult haling at him. He has received strict orders from his Boss to search Star when she arrives at the Den. And he gladly wants to search her and open the gate but this spit fire is not shutting up for him to relay the instructions. Star kept raining insults on the stone face guard. Seeing that he is not moving out of the way, she stepped out and landed a slap on the guard’s cheek. He exhale and stared deep into her eyes. Star did not back down even though her heart was inches away from leaving her body.
