Chapter 8 The Two Great Families

• The town is quiet than usual that night. Shops, restaurants and night clubs are all shut down. The streets barren of any living or supernatural entity. The moon changed it color to red, lives will be taken this night, blood will be slipped and the future of the country will be decided. Even Anubis is on the edge as his hands will be full of souls to take to the underworld. Most billionaires and CEO’s have travel out of the country to hide, some with their families are in their safe rooms designed under their homes completely secured and well stocked , few are supporting the war with their money but too afraid to make themselves known. The two great families are at war and no one wants to be caught in the cross fire.

• Helena left with her guards to the safe room located down deep under their mansion, her mind so far off thinking about her son and the strange light that was in George’s eyes, fear, that was it, she may or may not see him again and that worries her. A loud thud distracted her mind and she turned around, behind her she saw her guards’ dead with head shots and there she stood her son’s nanny for 16 years holding a gun with a silencer pointing at her

• Helena rushed for the gun, it fired and she pointed it up firing it again, she pushed Grace back and hit her hand with the wall multiple times weakening her grip on the gun it fell on the floor , she slap Grace and kicked the Gun farther away from them. Grace head butted Helena, kicked her stomach, she walked to the gun but was knocked down by Helena she pulled her leg back distancing them from the gun , jumped on Grace’s back and twisted her neck killing her instantly. She collapse back and touched her head which was oozing with blood, her lips smiled and she blacked out.
• Morning came, and the War seems to have ended after two days and nights, it was all over the news reporting that a gang of armed robbers were surrounded and gun fires were exchanged killing them all but if you are deeply connected to the underworld and the billionaires circle you know what went down.
• The Mace Empire has been destroyed and now the Woods are the royals, deals in and out of the underworld and the surface are under them and they rule the Country now. Friends and Family even Politicians and Big timers have started to reach out, inviting them out just to mingle with them, some even wanting to tap into the fortune directly through marriage started to suggest a union but Louis Woods was not in a hurry, he lost 2 third of his force but that did not give him any headache, his fear was Alexander Mace. He could not be found after all the searches they made prove futile and his father George would not give up his whereabouts upon all the torture he has been put through. He needs to find him and kill him before it becomes too late, a lion cub will eventually grow.
