Chapter 18 The Past

• It has been snowing for the past month. In a dark hole filled with water lies a man who has been tied. His legs were submerged into the water leaving his upper body bare. He was not responding to the cold weather as he was only wearing a boxer short. His body was beaten and bruised beyond recognition. His eyes swollen and slow faints of breath could be heard coming from him.
• The metal trap door made noise indicating someone coming into the prison. The heavy steps descending the stairs leading to him ceased. The pulley was pressed and it pulled him up from the hole with water draining down from him.
• “Get up you worm. You are sleeping. How good for you to treat here as a vacation when you are about to die. “
