Chapter 33 Revelations

• Standing before the huge windows of her New York office, Kimberly looked out at the softly glowing metropolitan skyline. Since the Marcus Donovan incident, it had been a crazy month. Her reputation was back, her identity cleared, and her creations were once more praised. But with all of the accomplishment and relief, a persistent anxiety gnawed at her mind.
• Travis has always been a comforting presence during the trying times. Her rock, he had helped her through every setback and celebrated every victory. Lily had brought them happiness and laughter, now a little older and more inquisitive.
• Kimberly, though, was plagued by the impression that something remained unsolved. A few days earlier, she had gotten an enigmatic email that alluded to past secrets that might surface again. Though first hesitant, she had made plans to meet the sender that evening in a quiet café.
