Chapter 25 The Turning Point

• Standing by Travis's penthouse's huge window, Kimberly took in the metropolitan skyline. Though the last few weeks had been turbulent, she and Travis had gotten closer in the process. Amid the mayhem, their connection was a ray of steadiness. As she turned, Travis was coming up with two mugs of coffee.
• Giving her a cup, he continued, "thought you could use this."
• Thanks, Kimberly said, grinning. Without you, I have no idea what I would do.
