Chapter 18 Race Against Time

• Kimberly and her group were working against the clock to disarm the multitude of bombs dispersed throughout the city. As best they could, emergency personnel secured the areas and evacuated residents. Kimberly was racing through ideas of how they may thwart this new menace and avert another catastrophe.
• Kimberly remarked, "We need to split up and cover as much ground as possible," her voice frantic. Take the next turn, Isabella. Go into the university district, Rachel. Here with me, Jasmine. Let us proceed.
• They divided up and dashed to the places they were given. When Kimberly and Jasmine got to a packed metro station, people were running to get out. Police led them to the location where the device was concealed.
