Chapter 11 Chapter Eleven
- On a hot afternoon, after taking a break from her therapy session with Ken, Cynthia walked down the hall and was surprised to find her bedroom door slightly opened. She recalled that she had closed it before leaving, and an unsettling chill ran down her back. Cautiously, she pushed the door open, and everything inside appeared normal—except for one thing. On her pillow lay a red envelope, which made her heart race..
- With shaky fingers, she picked it up and opened it. Inside, there was a message that said, "Leave while you can." Cynthia felt scared as she held the envelope tight and looked around the empty hallway; it felt very quiet, making her feel nervous. Someone was trying to tell her something.
- Many thoughts raced through her mind, but one thing was clear—someone wanted her to be afraid. However, Cynthia didn’t want to show that she was scared. Taking a deep breath, she turned around and walked back to Ken’s room, making sure her face looked calm. If someone was watching, they wouldn’t see her feeling scared. Not at all.
