• With Rhys away on another journey, things took another turn. I didn't want him to go, but he had his responsibilities, and so did I. I missed him desperately, and his absence only seemed to magnify the challenges I faced. Each day brought a new obstacle, and I was struggling to keep up with everything that was required of me.
• It felt like every moment was a test. Lex's contempt for me was almost tangible, and it felt like he took a perverse pleasure in making my life difficult. His sneers and rude comments seemed to have no end, and each interaction left me feeling more disheartened. The worst part was that his disdain was palpable, and it was becoming increasingly hard to ignore. I knew he was becoming bolder because Rhys wasn't around.
