Dawn
I had been curled up in bed all day, still trying to wrap my mind around everything that had happened. Even after my talk with Nadia, I knew I should be relieved and happy, but a part of me still felt shy and unsure. I missed Rhys terribly, but I couldn’t bring myself to leave the room, too afraid of facing everyone, especially Princess. She had a way of seeing through me, and I wasn’t sure I was ready for that.
I'd asked myself a million questions about what this meant for us and why I was feeling the way I was feeling. A mating bond was supposed to make you confident, yet I'd been spiraling all day.
