Chapter 30 I Forgive You

• Max can hardly contain his love for Sophie any longer. He yearns to tell her how he feels, to confess his deepest desires and fantasies to her. But he is afraid that if he does, he might scare her away, and lose her forever.
• Despite his fears, Max decides to take the plunge and tell Sophie how he feels. He takes her to a secluded spot by the river, where the sound of the water and the scent of the flowers create a magical atmosphere.
• As they sit together, Max gathers the courage to speak. “Sophie, I have something important to tell you,” he says, his voice trembling with emotion. “I know this might sound crazy, but I can't keep it in any longer. I love you, Sophie. I have loved you for years, and I can't imagine my life without you. You have captured my heart, and I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy.”
