Chapter 169 I Feel Awful

• “Are you okay?” Max asked curiously. Sophie nodded her head. “I feel a bit tired, but I’ll be fine.” Sophie reassured her mate. Max smiled gently at his sleepy wife before he got up out of bed and headed over to the bathroom.
• As he started filling the tub with water, he thought about their conversation from earlier that morning. He couldn’t believe that he proposed to Sophie. Yes, he was proposing, but it seemed like everything happened in slow motion.
• Max could vividly remember their first date, their first time making love together and their first date after their honeymoon. It seemed like forever ago, but it had only been less than two weeks since then. He shook his head slightly in disbelief. It all seemed like a dream to Max.
