Chapter 106 The Meaning Of Love

• Max laid down on the bed and turned his body towards his wife. Sophie crawled towards Max and laid down beside him, she cuddled closely with him and Max wrapped his arms around her. Max kissed her forehead and smiled lovingly at her.
• “Goodnight, my love” Max whispered as he caressed her hair. It was a habit of his, but he couldn't help himself. Max knew that Sophie was a light sleeper, but after a couple of minutes, she started breathing steadily. Max smiled and continued stroking her hair. After a while, Sophie's breathing became irregular and she began whimpering.
• “Baby… Wake up” Max whispered softly and gently shook her shoulder. Sophie woke up gasping heavily, her eyes wide open and tears already flowing down her cheeks. She looked at Max and tried to catch her breath.
