• Max couldn't believe what he was hearing. His heart raced with excitement and anticipation, and he stood up from his desk, looking at Sophie with hope in his eyes.
• “Are you serious, Sophie?” he asked, not wanting to get his hopes up too much.
• Sophie nodded, steeling herself against the doubts in her head. “Yes, Max, I am.” She approached him and took his hand in hers. “I don't know what the future holds, but I know that right now, I want to be with you.”
